      1st WEEK CARE & MAINTENANCE

During the curing process the coating is still soft and can be weakened. It requires about a week to fully harden. We recommend using our SMOOTH EGG Series for your maintenance.

During this time, if you notice any contaminants on the car such as tree sap, bird dropping, water and etc. remove them immediately by lightly spraying water onto the car and dry with an absorbent towel.

The following are one of the few to be avoided:

      Washing, rain, sprinklers
Parking outdoor or under a tree
Allowing bird droppings, sap or pollen to sit on the car and bake in the sun
Mechanically or chemically abrading the paint

DAILY MAINTENANCE - Only wash with water!

Vehicles applied with SOFT99 Body Glass Coat can easily remove dirt by a simple water rinse and drying with a microfiber towel.

      THINGS YOU'LL NEED:

      PROCEDURE:
      1. Rinse car with water, clean with dampen sponge to remove contaminants.
      2. Dry surface with clean absorbent towel.

Alternatively if a pressure washer is available then no need to clean with a car wash sponge. Rinse and dry with a clean absorbent towel.

STANDARD WASHING PROCEDURE - Unable to remove adhering contaminant with water

If the adhering contaminant (bird dropping, sap, dead bug, tar and oily stain) can’t be removed with water use maintenance shampoo (SMOOTH EGG Shampoo). This will aid the quick removal of dirt and protect the coating layer from damage. We recommend washing your car using the "Two Bucket Method". This involves using two car wash buckets, each with grit guards.

      THINGS YOU'LL NEED:

      PROCEDURE:
      1. Place grit guards into each bucket for protection against dirt and grime
      2. Fill both buckets with clean water one will be used for washing and the other one for rinsing.
      3. Soak sponge in water, squirt maintenance shampoo onto sponge and create lather.
      4. Clean vehicle with sponge then rinse in the rinse bucket.
      5. Soak sponge in the wash bucket and clean vehicle.
      6. Rinse surface off with water and dry with clean absorbent towel.

Using two buckets equipped with grit guards eliminates the risk of transferring dirt back onto your paint!

STANDARD WASHING PROCEDURE - Unable to remove adhering contaminant with shampoo

In case of adhering hardened bird dropping, sap, dead bug, tar, pollen, yellow sand and other contaminants that can’t be removed. Use wet towel and hot water.

      THINGS YOU'LL NEED:

      PROCEDURE:
      1. Put wet towel over area to be cleaned
      2. Pour hot water (more than 80℃) on the towel.
      3. Remove towel and wash with maintenance shampoo.
